Our Teachers:

The children are taught in English by qualified Montessori teachers. Levels 2 and 3 children attend Arabic classes also by a Qualified Montessori teacher. All classrooms have one teacher and one or two assistants.

Children do not only need love and protection from adults but also active support which takes into account the potential of each individual child. Our teachers take responsibility for a suitable environment and effective guidance, so that the child feels free to act at his own pace and in accordance with his own inner needs.

With the right approach children learn willingly, so the Montessori teacher is gentle, sympathetic and full of encouragement for the child.  She is viewed more as a designer of the environment, resource person, record keeper, friendly helper, rather than as a teacher to be obeyed.  Her role is to encourage positive attitudes, to help create strong individuals, and to provide the stimulus and inspiration for the child to learn and progress according to his/her abilities and at his own pace.
